About Jeremy
I was born in Lake Havasu but grew up in Mesa and Tempe. In search of colder weather and school, I relocated to Cheyenne two years ago. I began working at Sierra Trading Post, where I am a Retail Supervisor, shortly thereafter. I am in the process of achieving my dream of working for the National Park Service.

About Beka
I was born in Colorado but due to my status as an Army brat, I called many places home. I graduated from college in 2002 and came back to family and Colorado. I started working at Sierra Trading Post in Cheyenne shortly thereafter and made it my home a year later. I work as a Color Specialist for their multitude of catalogs; in short, I color pictures for a living.

How We Met
We both worked at Sierra but in separate departments.  We were introduced by Beka’s roommate/Jeremy’s supervisor in early 2006 but didn’t really get to know each other until that summer.  We spent a solid week parked on Beka’s couch watching movies, hanging out, and getting to know each other until we went on our first official date.  We’ve been inseparable since.

Our Engagement
Some months before, we had picked out a ring, ok Jeremy made me pick it out to be sure I’d like it but I wasn’t aware he’d hold on to it for six months!  On August 6th, the anniversary of our first date we decided we’d just go to dinner.  I was at my place waiting for Jeremy to come pick me up and he shows up at my door with flowers!  At this point I’m totally focused on the flowers and grinning ear to ear.  He then pulled me out on my front porch and asked if “I remembered this” and then kissed me.  It was where we had our first kiss.  I said yes, still focusing on the flowers and then he held up the ring and asked if I’d marry him.  With my eyes brimming with tears of joy, I said yes and he slipped the ring on my hand.  It was sweet.  It was perfect.
